What did you study at LCC and what year did you graduate?

I studied BA (Hons) Sound Arts and Design at LCC between 2007 and 2010.

Where are you from in the world?

I am from Kraków, Poland. I have been in the UK for 12 years now.

What made you choose Sound Arts at LCC?

I wanted to experiment in the field of sound, both sound installations and compositions, as well as try my strengths in sound postproduction for film.

What was the best part of the Sound Arts course?

The variety of fields to try out: sound art, composition or sound for film.

What are you working at the moment?

I work as a freelance sound editor/designer and dubbing mixer primarily with moving image.

What are your fondest memories of LCC?

People that I have met on the course.

What is your favourite sound?

There is no one particular sound that I like, but sounds of nature are among my favourites. I also like the low sounds of drums, and sounds made by hang drum.

Name three things you couldn't be creative without:

Inspiration, freedom, feeling un-judged.

If you could collaborate creatively with anybody in the world who would it be?

I would love to work with; Björk, Polanski, Lynch.

Tell us about your future plans and ambitions:

I would like to work more often on bigger film projects that are interesting creatively.

What drives you to succeed?

I don’t think about success in a commercial sense, but my ambition is to work on projects that are interesting creatively. So furthering my creative skills drives me.

What piece of advice would you give to new students?

Follow your ambition; take your own initiative outside of your course or environment, be bold.

Where in London do you go when you need a little inspiration?

Any galleries, theatre, concert e.g. Southbank, but also small venues when often alternative project happen.
